Vodka is a distilled beverage. It is a clear liquid which consists of mostly water and ethanol purified by distillation, often multiple distillations, from a fermented substance, most commonly grain (usually rye or wheat), potatoes or sugar beat mollases , and an insignificant amount of other substances such as flavorings or unintended impurities.Vodka usually has an alcohol content of 35% to 50% by volume. The classic Russian/Lithuanian and Polish vodka is 40% (80 proof). This can be attributed to the Russian standards for vodka production introduced in 1894 by Alexander III According to the Vodka Museum in Moscow, Russian chemist Dimitri Mendeleev (more famous for his work in developing the periodic table)
found the perfect percentage to be 38.
However, since spirits in his
time were taxed on their strength, the percentage was rounded up to 40
to simplify the tax computation. At strengths less than this, vodka
drunk neat (without ice and not mixed with other liquids) can taste
"watery", while strengths above 40% may give the taste of vodka more
"burn". Star Vodka is unique as it is distilled from the finest quality American Grown Corn and distilled five times.
STAR VODKA
is produced naturally, utilizing filter media that is composed of many distinct layers, eight of which are of rare volcanic (igneous)
mineral. Igneous minerals are formed by the cooling and
crystallization of molten volcanic rock at temperatures between 1100ºF
to 2200ºF, and from ground level to depths of 98,000 feet or more.
Geo-magnetic energies and crystallization patterns are absorbed by the
molten magma as it cools, giving the resulting volcanic minerals
distinct characteristics including high energy resonance frequencies.
Recent
research indicates that the geochemical environments of water sources
play an important role, and has a profound effect on the level of
health in humans and animals. STAR VODKA was developed after
extensive research of the famous mountain waters of the world, where
many of the relationships between the geochemical environment has been
found to be intimately associated with the health and longevity of
those consuming them.
Most distillary processes use commercially available charcoal to filter thier vodka's, while STAR VODKA uses an additional mixture of organically cooled lava rock to add a special additional layer of filtering. At least two times more than most leading Russian or European Vodka's, thus taking the "Burn" away and making STAR VODKA the smoothest vodka anywhere.
